About the College of Applied Sciences (CAS)
Believing in the importance of education in raising the standards of the community and keeping pace with the continued scientific development in various areas of science and knowledge, Palestine Polytechnic University established the College of Applied Science to keep pace with the rapid scientific developments within the community and beyond. The College of Applied Science was established in 1998. Since then, the college has been developing rapidly in terms of its administrative staff, faculty members and the programs it offers. The college started with one program, which is Applied Mathematics, today it includes several programs and offers degrees in the following:
- Master's Degree in Mathematics
- Bachelor’s Degree in the following programs:
- Applied Mathematics
- Applied Physics
- Applied Electronics
- Applied Chemistry
- Applied Biology
The college also provides general education courses, including mathematics, physics, languages, cultural subjects and others.
Through its programs, the college seeks to produce competent graduates who are well-prepared to make a change and contribute to a better society. Students study at least 132-134 credit hours over four years to obtain a bachelor's degree, which qualifies them in theoretical and practical knowledge.
